NORDEC QUATTRO B2eAM and NORDEC COMPOSITE B2eAM

are cutting-edge slim-floor beam types, expertly crafted in factories in Ylivieska, Finland, and Riga, Latvia. These beams are designed to support various slab structures, offering unparalleled versatility for single-span, continuous, or cantilever beams. Whether connecting to steel, concrete, or timber columns or walls, we provide an optimized design solution with our beams tailored to your project’s unique needs.

Our innovative slim-floor beam solutions

  • NORDEC QUATTRO B2eAM: This slim-floor beam type can be produced from either 100% or 70% recycled steel depending on your needs, significantly recuding your project’s carbon footprint. It is designed to support various slab structures and can be used as single-span, continuous, or cantilever beams. The beams can be connected to steel, concrete, or timber columns or walls, providing an optimized design solution for each project.
  • NORDEC COMPOSITE B2eAM: Similar to the QUATTRO B2eAM, this beam type can also be produced from either 100% or 70%  recycled steel depending on your needs, significantly recuding your project’s carbon footprint. It offers the same versatility and performance, making it an ideal choice for more sustainable construction. 

Environmental impact

Our EPDs provide detailed information about the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycle.

  • Global Warming Potential (GWP): The GWP-total, A1-A3 for NORDEC QUATTRO B2eAM and NORDEC COMPOSITE B2eAM manufactured from 100% recycled steel, is 1.19 kg CO2e per kg of product. The use of recycled steel reduces the carbon footprint of a product by 53 % when compared to a product manufactured using virgin steel.  More about our EPD for products manufactured with 100% recycled steel 
  • Global Warming Potential (GWP): The GWP-total, A1-A3 for NORDEC QUATTRO B2eAM and NORDEC COMPOSITE B2eAM manufactured from 70% recycled steel, is 1.68 kg CO2e per kg of product. The use of recycled steel reduces the carbon footprint of a product by 34 % when compared to a product manufactured using virgin steel.
