Nordec Group launches new tool for enhanced environmental and chemical management.
The new environmental round is practical checklist that will be the cornerstone of our environmental and chemical management system. The purpose of the tool is to support the implementation of environmental, chemical and sustainability topics in our factories and on installation sites & enable continuous improvements.
The new environmental round is part of the overall continuous development of our environmental management system, that includes a complete set of environmental reporting and monitoring tools, a new chemical management system and a new template for project-specific environmental and sustainability plans. It is the result of long-term development, collaboration, and dialogue with various stakeholders within Nordec.
Despite its name, a large part of the new environmental round covers health & safety related topics, especially those related to ensuring the health and safety of personnel working with hazardous chemicals. The tool will be available in all the main languages that Nordec operates in, to ensure efficient implementation.
