At Nordec, we mainly use bolted joints in frame installation to minimize welding on site. Depending on the site we use a mobile crane, a tower crane, or a crawler crane for the installation. We prefer cranes because they are the most efficient and safe way to manage the frame installation based on our experience.

The schedule of the frame installation usually depends heavily on the general schedule of the project. That’s why we present our view on frame installation already in the tendering phase. In addition, we pay attention to storage areas and lifting points on-site because these affect the size of the crane required, and finally the costs of the frame installation.

Envelope Installation

In envelope installation we focus on securing airtight facade solutions. With great attention to detail and careful work during the installation, it is possible to improve the airtightness of a facade. The quality of envelope installation affects the life cycle operating costs of the building.
