Nordec joins the Finnish Data Center Association
Nordec, one of the leading suppliers of structural steel frames for data centre buildings in Northern Europe, has joined the Finnish Data Center Association (FDCA). The membership supports Nordec’s work in data centre projects across the Nordic region and several European markets.
FDCA brings together developers, operators, designers and contractors involved in data centre projects. The association provides a forum for coordination and exchange of practical insights between stakeholders working in technically demanding and schedule-critical environments.
Nordec delivers structural steel frames and secondary steel structures for data centre buildings, including supporting structures for roof and façade systems. The company works with hyperscale, colocation and enterprise data centre developers and contractors.
With fabrication capability up to Execution Class 4 (EXC4) and production in Nordec’s own units in Finland, Poland and Lithuania, Nordec supports coordinated delivery across design, fabrication and installation in large data centre construction projects.
Nordec has supplied frame and façade solutions for data centre developments since 2009, including single-storey data halls, multi-storey buildings and expansions within operating data centre sites. Experience from projects delivered alongside ongoing operations supports planning and execution in complex environments.
FDCA membership supports closer cooperation with stakeholders involved in data centre projects and strengthens Nordec’s position in the sector.
