Resource-efficient steel for demanding applications
Our steel structures, including columns, beams, braces, and trusses, are manufactured in Oborniki, Poland, and Gargždai, Lithuania. These are produced using hot-rolled profiles such as H-, I-, and U-profiles made from over 90% recycled steel. By optimizing material use, our resource-efficient steel structures lower emissions while maintaining the strength required for demanding applications.
Low carbon steel structures are widely used in buildings, bridges, and industrial projects, contributing to lower-impact construction practices. By maximizing material potential, we reduce waste while ensuring high-performance outcomes.
Verified environmental impact
Nordec’s Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) provide accurate, independently verified data on the environmental impact of resource-efficient steel structures.
At our Oborniki factory, the Global Warming Potential (GWP-total A1-A3) is 0.721 kg CO₂e per kg of product, reducing emissions by 40% compared to conventional methods. At our Gargždai facility, the GWP is 0.913 kg CO₂e per kg of product, a 27% reduction.
