Nordec at Dalux Summit in Copenhagen
Nordec had the privilege of presenting at the Dalux Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark, a prominent two-day BIM event that attracted approximately 1,800 participants from around the globe. Invited by Dalux, Nordec shared its experience through a presentation on the implementation of the program on our construction sites. The event included several presentations by experts in the field.
The presentation received positive feedback, leading to numerous questions from the audience. Attendees showed interest in the rapid adoption of Dalux and the comprehensive effort involved. After the presentation, many attendees continued to engage with our presenters for further insights.
This experience reinforced our confidence in Nordec methodologies and confirmed that we are making progress in developing and applying Dalux for our projects. Our goal with the Dalux implementation at Nordec is to improve construction site management, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective communication among all parties involved.
In our presentation, we demonstrated how we use a combination of tasks, inspection plans, and planned extents for on-site quality assurance and progress tracking. Tasks facilitate communication among on-site parties, while BIM models and 3D object groups enable detailed planning of inspections and maintenance of a clear progress overview.
