Nordec signs contract with TAB for a new logistics facility in Sigtuna Sweden
Nordec has signed a contract with TAB for the design and implementation of the frame structures of a new logistics facility in Sigtuna Sweden. Seamless cooperation with TAB and effective project management enable the delivery of the structures with a record pace.
Nordec will start cooperation with TAB (Tommy Allström Byggproduktion AB) in construction project of a large logistics facility in Sigtuna Sweden. The logistics facility is owned and operated by a Danish transport and logistics company DSV. Nordec is responsible for the design and build -delivery of the DSV logistics facility totaling 80000m².
Nordec will provide to the project the steel frame system, including the mezzanines of prefabricated concrete slabs, wall structures consisting of façades and partition walls and load bearing roof structure. All the frame structures will be manufactured at the Nordec factories in Finland, Lithuania and Poland.
Structures delivered with a record pace
Nordec is in charge of the project from design to implementation. Seamless cooperation with TAB and effective project management makes it possible to deliver all the structures with a record pace. The operations on site will start with raising of the frame structures already by the end of April. The logistics facility will be completed by the end of 2021.
